What is F1000Workspace?

F1000Workspace is an online only citation database that allows you to:

  • Collect reference lists with your collaborators and share Word documents with editable citations & bibliographies.
  • Find and cite the right references in Word and Google Docs.
  • Log-in, access and use your references & notes from any computer.
  • Set up a 'watch folder' to automatically import PDF references from your computer.      
  • Securely annotate and discuss individual articles with collaborators.

Getting Started

F1000Workspace is a online only software program. It is free to all Fred Hutch employees through the library's F1000Prime subscription.  To setup an account click the Get Started button from this page http://f1000.com/work/

Using F1000Workspace

Saving references - Save references directly from your browser using the browser extension button.

Write and Cite - Easily cite as you write and pick from over 7,000 bibliography styles. You'll even get smart citation suggestions and article recommendations from our faculty of experts.

Collaborate - Share your annotations with their comments and discuss articles with your co-authors.

F1000Workspace provides video tutorials and an FAQ.
