You will not want to miss this year's Kit SignUp Day from 9am-2pm on Saturday, September 21 (doors open at 8:30am).
We have an incredible speaker, Dr. Harmit Malik, who will present the scientific talk from 9:15am-10:30am: Paleovirology: ghosts and gifts of ancient viruses in our genome. Even if you don't need kits, you should come for the speaker. When he presented to the Fred Hutch non-scientific staff, he blew us all away! Your science teacher colleagues are welcome to attend the talk.
New This Year: Quick shares and Kit Deep Dives:
Quick shares: Do you have something you'd like to share with other SEP teachers? Or are you looking for partners to discuss an idea with? We will pilot 2-minute "quick shares" this year. Optional: you can also submit 2 slides to go along with your share. Please RSVP with your topic to let us know if you'd like to do this (so we can get a sense of how much time to reserve).
Kit Deep Dive: From 2:30-3:30, Jessica Youmans will take interested folks into a "deep dive" into the SEP Transformation Kit. Unpack the kit contents, discuss classroom implementation, and get your questions answered! Please RSVP.
